Terms of Service
Last updated: May 4, 2026
These Terms of Service ("the Terms") set out the conditions for use of RC Pit Spec ("the App"). Users may use the App on the condition that they agree to these Terms.
Article 1 (Application)
These Terms apply to all relationships related to the use of the App between users and KG App Lab ("the Operator").
Article 2 (Account Registration)
The App can be used without account registration. When posting via the "Pit Lane" feature, users may optionally enter a public handle name (displayed as "Anonymous" if left blank).
Article 3 (Premium Plans)
- The App offers two paid plans (Basic / Pro), available as monthly or yearly subscriptions. Pricing and feature details are shown on the plan selection screen inside the App.
- Payments are processed through in-app purchases on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Subscription management and cancellation must be performed via each store's subscription management screen.
- Pricing, feature contents, and ticket allocations may be changed with prior notice.
Article 4 (Ticket System)
- The App's AI features (AI diagnosis / AI conversation) are managed under a unified ticket system. 1 ticket = 1 diagnosis or 1 conversation session.
- Free users may use up to 3 tickets per 24 hours. Each feature requires viewing a rewarded ad before launch.
- Premium users receive monthly tickets (Basic 15 / Pro 50).
- Multiple turns within a single conversation session consume only 1 ticket. The turn limit per session is Free 3 / Basic 10 / Pro 30.
- Unused tickets do not roll over to the next cycle. Remaining tickets at the time of cancellation are not refunded.
Article 5 (AI Features)
- The App's AI diagnosis and AI conversation features generate responses using the Google Gemini API.
- AI responses are reference information only. The Operator does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose of the content.
- User responsibility: The Operator is not responsible for outcomes resulting from setting changes, race participation, or equipment purchases based on AI responses. Final judgments must be made by the user.
- Do not perform operations that fall outside manufacturer-specified limits, or operations with risk of fire, breakdown, or personal injury, even if suggested by the AI.
Article 6 (AI Character Feature)
In conversation mode, users can select from multiple AI characters to converse with. Character switching is a premium-plan-only feature. Each character is a fictional persona and is not associated with any real person or organization. Disclaimers regarding response content follow Article 5.
Article 7 (Sharing Content)
- Setting data shared via the "Pit Lane" feature is viewable by other users.
- Copyright in shared data belongs to the poster, but the Operator may use it within the scope necessary to provide the service.
- The Operator may remove content deemed inappropriate without prior notice.
Article 8 (Prohibited Acts)
Users must not engage in any of the following acts:
- Acts that violate laws or public order and morals
- Acts that interfere with the App's servers or network
- Unauthorized use intended to bypass ticket consumption (reverse engineering, automation via scripts, etc.)
- Impersonation of other users or collection of personal information
- Posting false or inappropriate content via the "Pit Lane" feature
- Inputs intended to generate inappropriate content via the AI features
- Direct or indirect provision of benefits to anti-social organizations
- Other acts the Operator deems inappropriate
Article 9 (Advertising and Affiliates)
- Free users see ads delivered by Google AdMob. No ads are shown while a paid plan is active.
- Links in the parts catalog include Amazon Associates and Rakuten affiliate links. The Operator does not warrant the quality, availability, or pricing of products at the destination.
Article 10 (Use Restrictions)
The Operator may restrict use of the App without prior notice if the user violates these Terms, abuse is detected, or other circumstances are deemed inappropriate.
Article 11 (Disclaimer)
- The Operator does not warrant that the App is free from defects (errors, bugs, security flaws, infringements of rights, etc.).
- The Operator is not liable for any damages incurred by users arising from the App.
- The Operator is not liable for the loss of setting data or other information. Users are responsible for backing up important data.
- The Operator is not liable for malfunctions caused by failures or specification changes of external services (Google Gemini API / RevenueCat / AdMob, etc.).
Article 12 (Changes / Discontinuation of Service)
The Operator may change the contents of the App, or suspend or terminate its provision, without notice to users. The Operator is not liable for any damages arising from such actions.
Article 13 (Changes to Terms)
The Operator may change these Terms when deemed necessary. Significant changes may be announced inside the App. Updated Terms take effect once posted on this page.
Article 14 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. In the event of a dispute, the court having jurisdiction over the Operator's location shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
